BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department said a man was shot in Baton Rouge on Thursday, Oct. 24. Officers were called to the scene a little before 12:45 a.m. and determined that a man was shot while walking in the 900 block of East Harrison Street. Police said the man “heard gunshots and was hit in the leg by gunfire.”

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will continue the annual public ‘Road Show’ to District 61, or the Baton Rouge region. The outage will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to last four to five hours.
