The Carolina Panthers announced that starting quarterback Andy Dalton and his family were involved in a car accident on Tuesday in Charlotte.

The Panthers quarterback was in the car with his wife, three kids and dog when they got into a crash in South Charlotte.

For the time being, Dalton is still the Panthers starting quarterback, but an incident took place on Tuesday that may force the team into making another change. The team revealed that Dalton and his family were involved in a car accident, but that neither he nor any members of his family were taken to the hospital.
