Chuck Coleman, who died in a crash of a small plane during a New Mexico air show, was an accomplished pilot who had given lessons to the cast of a "Top Gun" movie.

Charles "Chuck" Coleman - who had more than 10,000 hours flight time - was performing a death-defying stunt over New Mexico on Sunday when his aircraft lost speed and he plummeted to the ground

Coleman was an aerobatic flight instructor for actors in the 2022 motion picture, "Top Gun: Maverick," where he flew more than 100 flights preparing actors to fly in Navy F-18 Hornets.
