The incident relates to Fletcher allegedly “acting in an improper and/or confrontational manner and/or used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official and the referee and/or assistant referees” in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Brentford.

Manchester United first-team coach Darren Fletcher has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association following his side's 2-1 win against Brentford. Fletcher is alleged to have acted in an "improper and/or confrontational manner" and using "abusive and/or insulting words" towards the match officials during the Premier League victory at Old Trafford on 19 October.
