The latest version (1.5) of Ford’s hands-free advanced driver-assist system, BlueCruise, debuts with the 2025 Mach-E. The version adds Automatic Lane Change to its repertoire, which Ford says will automate “up to 45% of lane changes on an average drive, based on internal testing.”

It is the second update Ford has announced for the Mustang Mach-E in six months with the last revision in April 2024 introducing a lighter rear electric motor with more power for Standard Range models and a torque bump for Extended Range versions – along with faster charging times.
