Are Iowa State and BYU on a collision course for the Big 12 championship game? The Cyclones and Cougars remained 1-2 for the fourth consecutive week in the Big 12 Power Rankings. Iowa State received 10 of a possible 16 first-place votes from a panel of media who regularly cover the league.

I said this last week with this article, and I will more than likely say it each week for the rest of the season—the parity in the Big 12 is real, and it's evident each week on the scoreboard and in our Big 12 Football Power Rankings.

The Wildcats never should have been ranked inside the top 20. This is not the same team that ended last season on a hot streak under coach Jedd Fisch, even though Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan are back. Arizona has played four games against Big 12 teams this season and only one of them went well.
